Gem

$375.00

6.5 x 5.4 x 2.4 inches

Design is based on your florals and my vision as to what I think is the most aesthetically pleasing, and based on your original bouquet.

+ I work with what nature and the drying process gives me. I believe that no matter how the colors may change, if bruising or translucence occur… every single flower tells a part of your story

+ Reds and oranges will always dry darker, some red roses even look deep purple. Pinks can become a bit faded or turn more purple in hue. Some thin petaled flowers may appear translucent.

+ Dark areas on your flowers after the block is made means that they were bruised sometime during its life span. How they are handled from start to finish is a key factor in getting the best results, so handle with care! Bruising may not be apparent until they are set in resin. Your flowers will dry with blemishes if there are blemishes when they arrive.

+ I remove as many bubbles and imperfections as possible. However, every piece is so special and unique. They’re 100% handmade, not mass produced. There are always going to be minor bubbles or imperfections to a certain extent.

+ I love hearing my clients ideas. If you have something in mind, please share with me! I will do my best make it happen. The world is your oyster and there are many things we can do to add even more special touches to your work of art. Gold/silver flakes, ribbon from your floral arrangements, pearls, gems, beads, candles, colored edges, colored backgrounds, etc.

-You may see tiny blue spots, that’s normal. Some molds have to actually be designed and made upside down (basically blindly) so with that, to insert the flowers upside down can dislodge some of the silica that was trapped deep in the flower. Even not designed upside down, the resin can dislodge them while pouring. Silica is just the size of grains of sand and can pop up unexpectedly.

+You may see slight, horizontal lines. They are layer lines since the resin has to be poured over the course of multiple days, and the taller the item the more layers it will need. Resin can’t be poured more than a certain depth or it overheats and can smoke or adhere to the silicon mold itself, or cause previous layers to yellow
